Understanding our environment

Thousands of Emporer Hackberry butterflies emerge each summer.

Friends of the KU Field Station members will receive periodic announcements, via email whenever possible, from Survey Director Ed Martinko, of activities such as wildflower and birding walks, as well as natural events, at the Field Station. Friends also will be invited to special events, including those related to KU student projects. In addition, Friends also receive discounts on the KU Field Station Summer Courses.

We are developing plans for a succinct annual report on the Field Station to be provided to all giving society members.

We will continue to develop the Friends program and related benefits. We are grateful for your support through this new annual giving group and welcome your input.
