Hall Nature Reserve

The Hall Nature Reserve is 9 miles (about 20 minutes) from KU. Access is by permission only.

At the intersection of Iowa Street (U.S. 59 Highway) and West 15th Street proceed west on 15th Street 1 mile to Kasold Street. Take Kasold north about 3 miles to Douglas County Road 438 (also called N 1800 Road). Turn left (west) and travel on Douglas County Road 438 about 3 miles to E 900 Road (gravel). Turn right (north) on E 900 Road. After 1/2 mile, the road bears left (west) and becomes N 1850 Road. Travel 1/2 mile west on N 1850 Road, then turn right (north) onto E 850 Road. Proceed about a mile, then turn left onto N 1909 Road. Follow the road up the hill to N 1917 Road, which is the entrance to the Hall Nature Reserve.
